On May 20, 2024, the Youth Have a Voice congress was held in Lublin. The initiative was launched in 2022. The participants over the previous two editions included young people, as well as local government officials, representatives of government administration, and youth organizations.

The Congress’s goal was the integration and civic education of secondary schools pupils from Lublin. During the event, a panel discussion on the European Union was held, followed by the elections.

During the congress, young people working to build civil society, as well as adults who support young people in projects, have received awards in recognition for their work. The winners of the Inspiration of the Young Generation award were: Jacek Trela, Beata Stepaniuk-Kuśmierzak, Agnieszka Parol-Górna, Andrzej Romańczuk, and Anna Glijer.

The Congress is part of the Youth Have a Voice project, which activates young people from Lublin. The project includes civic education classes in schools, and a social media campaign.
