We join forces and unite powers for one goal – to win the title of the European Capital of Culture in 2029. On April 3, 2024, city cultural institutions signed an agreement to form a consortium. The RE:UNION motto chosen by Lublin is coming to life.
In connection with our efforts to obtain the title of ECoC 2029, representatives of Lublin cultural institutions have established a consortium – the Union of Lublin Cultural Operators. It is a symbolic beginning of cooperation, which will result in the preparation of the key program assumptions for the final application of ECoC LUBLIN 2029, and the celebrations related to winning the title. However – most importantly – regardless of the result of the competition, the consortium will continue its work for Lublin’s cultural and social development, taking into account the goals set in the ECoC LUBLIN 2029 application. This way, thanks to the RE:UNION idea, every scenario becomes a win-win situation.
